This is a great way to add wheat bran to your diet. Nutritional Benefits: Wheat bran has a decent amount of zinc and copper. It is low in calories and is a good source of dietary fibre and protein as well. Whole wheat flour is also known to lower the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

  • •15 grams wheat bran
  • •15 grams whole wheat flour
  • •Water as required

Method

    Combine wheat bran, whole wheat flour and knead the soft dough using little water.

    Cover and keep this aside for ten to fifteen minutes.

    Roll the dough into a round roti using a little wheat flour.

    Heat a tawa over moderate flame and place roti over it.

    When small bubbles start forming turn it over, and cook it from the other side.

    Press the edges with a spatula so that edges are also cooked well.

    Cook it evenly from both sides and serve immediately.
