We drink more water in summer time but hydration requirement by our body doesn’t change in winters. So, it is important to stay hydrated during winters as well. Try this simple and delicious pink lady’s drink loaded with vitamins and minerals which not only give your skin a healthy glow but also quench your thirst while energizing you.

Nutritional Benefits:

Beetroots or blood turnips are low in sodium and fat and are a good source of folate which supports mental and emotional health. It is filled with other nutrients like iron, manganese, copper, potassium and magnesium. It also contains vitamin A which maintains healthy mucus membrane and skin health. Pomegranate has high level of antioxidants which helps remove free radicals, protect cells from damage and reduce inflammation. Coconut water is low in fat and high in nutrients and therefore, it is the number one choice for many athletes around the world.

Ingredients:

  • 20 grams – beetroot
  • 20 grams – pomegranate
  • 200 ml – coconut water
  • Few mint leaves (to garnish)

Calories – 73 kcal
Proteins – 3.74 g
Fat – 1.55 g
Carbohydrates – 11.29

Method:

  • Peel the beetroot lightly and chop into small chunks.
  • Deseed the pomegranate and place coconut water in the blender as well.
  • Blend the mixture for around one minute or until you get smooth consistency.
  • Garnish with few mint leaves and serve immediately.
