The brain is the most complex organ of your body, which commands the functioning of all other organs and also your behavior. It produces your every thought, action, memory, feeling, and experience about the world around you.
Starting number of nerve cells (or neurons) in brain forms mind-blowing connections among themselves where memories are stored, habits are learned and personalities get shaped. The brain keeps itself on toes, all the time, taking note of every stimulus against which it codes a reaction. So, it’s very imperative to have a lifestyle which gives a conducive environment to your brain to stay active and alert all the time.
Reading books aloud, taking new routes to your workplace/school/home, telling good stories and learning a new skill are some of the most striking neurobic exercises that push your brain to a higher degree of action. Physical exercises make the brain exercise too, it learns new muscle skills, estimate distance and practice balance and without any doubt, exercises also flood the body with more oxygen which is required to carry out all the metabolic activity.
Your brain needs you to arrange healthy nourishment for it. Focus on fish oils from wild salmon (rich sources of omega-3 fatty acids), nuts such as walnuts, seeds such as flax seeds and pumpkin seeds and olive oil. Include fruits and vegetables and green tea that are high on antioxidants, because antioxidants prevent brain damaging. Eliminate trans fats completely and reduce saturated fats from your diet.
Daily meditation is one of those greatest things in the world that you can do for grand brain and body health. Meditation, besides relaxing you, gives your brain a workout by creating an altogether different mental state.
Overall, the key that unlocks your brain’s activity and health is ‘try out something new’. The brain thrives on variety and variations, in the lifestyle. So, rope in new things every time that will not only keep your life happening but also gives the brain new opportunities to learn and stay active.

The task to push your brain into a healthy lifestyle is not difficult. Reboot your actions and reactions (i.e. habits) to get the ball roll. Find new angles with which you look at your daily chores, (for #15 days at least) which will set in the cycle of finding the beauty of life with active brain.
