The Popeye’s Smoothie

We all are supposed to drink eight glasses of water through the day but sometimes we get so sick of drinking water that we don’t want to drink it anymore. In that case, we suggest you to drink this amazing Popeye smoothie which stores the goodness of veggies like carrot, spinach and tomato and also help you keep hydrated.
This drink has amazing health benefits and it loads us with all the needed nutrients required for a healthy life. Both Carrot and spinach are rich in vitamin A and calcium which is very important for the production of healthy red blood cells and hemoglobin. Tomato is a major source of dietary antioxidant lycopene and reduces the risk of heart disease and cancer. Coconut water on the other hand provides us with various nutrients and a delicious source of hydration.
- medium size carrots (peeled and chopped)=20g
- small bunch of spinach (rinsed and chopped) 4- 5 leaves=30g
- medium size tomato (chopped)=20g
- coconut water=100ml
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- In a blender add carrots, spinach and tomato and blend to get the smooth consistency.
- Now add coconut water to the blender and blend again.
- Pour prepared juice into the serving glasses
- Add salt and pepper according to your taste. Serve immediately.
