Spicy Dahi Tadka Recipe

Dahi the popular food item more accompanied with rice and chapattis while at the same time people in south are too fan of dahi. As dahi improves digestion and is healthy for your heart, it’s always good to add it in your everyday meal plan. This recipe called spicy dahi tadka has a twist in it, which makes it more appetizing, presenting an amazing variation of a normal plain dahi.
Dahi is considered a superfood as it is packed with a significant amount of calcium, protein and live and good bacteria that helps in keeping your gut healthy. It also promotes weight loss, boosts metabolism, increase immunity, prevents osteoporosis, fighting against anaemia and vaginal infections. Tomatoes used in this recipe attributed to the wealth of nutrients which includes vitamins A, C, K, as well as good amounts of vitamin B6, thiamine and folate. They are also a great source of potassium, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus and copper, dietary fiber and protein including a number of organic compounds such as lycopene that contribute to their health benefits.
- Onion, chopped – 10 grams
- Tomato, chopped – 10 grams
- Kadi Patta pieces – 4-5
- Haldi – 1/4 Tsp
- Salt – 1/4 Tsp
- Mirch – 1/4 Tsp
- Butter – 1 Tsp
- Bowl of Chilled Dahi – 100 grams

- Take a pan and put some butter in it.
- Add onion and tomatoes and fry.
- Add haldi, salt and mirch. Mix it well.
- Put kadi patta, and let it cook for a while.
- Now add the cooked tadka in the chilled curd.
- Serve immediately.
