Soothing Bedtime Tea

Tea is one beverage that most of the people need every day! Chamomile tea is another addition to the tea family which is totally healthy and a stress-buster. Nowadays, where every single person is busy and is stressed with something or the other on their minds, we need something to come out of the situation and what better if we get it done with the things that are readily available. Give this nutritious tea a shot at the bed-time to enjoy a stress free good night’s sleep.
Chamomile tea comes packed with all the ingredients to relieve you from all the stress you’ve been holding onto. It helps in giving you a soothing and sound sleep, something which is required when you’re suffering from insomnia. It is a healthy alternative to caffeine-occupied beverages. It is loaded with antioxidants which help in reducing heart and cancer risks. It contains an antioxidant called apigenin which fights cancer cells.
- 1 cup water
- 2 tsp dried chamomile
- ½ tsp cinnamon powder
- Herbs like basil and thyme (optional)

- Take a saucepan and start heating water on high heat. Heat until it starts boiling.
- When it starts boiling, turn off the flame and add dried chamomile, along with cinnamon powder.
- Cover it for a minute. Strain it into a tea cup.
- Add basil and thyme. Enjoy!
