Raw Apple Crumble

Raw apple crumble is a dessert recipe made with raw apples with a topping of nutty crisp crumble which gives it a perfect bite. It is easy to prepare and a healthy way to add sweet to any of your occasion.

Nutritional Value

Apples are rich in fiber, protein, iron, and antioxidants. It helps in ensuring the efficient uptake of nutrients. It also supports improving various kinds of cancer particularly skin, colon and breast cancer. Cinnamon helps in lowering blood sugar and helps in preventing heart diseases. Walnuts are rich in healthy fats and omega 3 fatty acids and help in prevention from various diseases.

  • 100 gm apples, peeled and chopped
  • 10 grams raisins, soaked and drained
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1⁄4teaspoon nutmeg
  • 2tablespoons lemon juice
  • 10 grams walnuts
  • 1cup pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Salt- as per taste



  • Blend half apple, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, raisins in a food processor until it is smooth.
  • Place remaining chopped apple and toss with lemon juice
  • Pour the blended mixture over the top and mix well.
  • Spoon apple mixture in a medium-sized pan and keep aside.
  • Pulse walnuts, dates, cinnamon, and salt until coarsely ground for preparing the crumble.
  • Crumble the mixture over apples and press lightly
  • Let it marinate for an hour and serve.
