Navrati season is the healthiest way to detox and cleanse your body. This savoury drink is all set to help you cleanse your system. The banana walnut lassi is the coolest fluid that helps you calm your body as well as aids in digestion and manages appetite.

Nutritional Values

Banana is a hub of essential nutrients which promotes digestion, manages blood sugar levels and also helps in losing weight. Walnut is rich in antioxidants. It controls weight, lowers blood pressure, promotes healthy gut and decreases inflammation.

 

Ingredients 

  • 50 grams low fat yogurt
  • 1/2 banana
  • 2 walnuts
  • Strands of saffron (optional)
  • 1 tsp jiggery (optional)

Carbs: 15.5 grams
Protein: 2.8 grams
Fat: 2.2 grams

 

Method 

  • Add all the ingredients in the processor.
  • Blend them till consistent, smooth and creamy.
  • Once smooth, refrigerate for about an hour.
  • Serve chilled, garnished with chopped walnuts and saffron strands.
