Avocado Oats Double Blend

This healthy double blend is as smooth to prepare as the name suggests. What’s better? It’s yummy and delicious! And it can be prepared with as many vegetables and fruits you like. This avocado oats double blend is totally an amazing way to include oats in your diet. Avocados make it just better giving it a beautiful blend of colour and healthy look. To enhance the taste, coconut water can be added instead of ordinary water.
Oats are a great source of proteins and fibres and also contain essential vitamins and minerals. They contain antioxidants which help reduce blood pressure and provide other health benefits. It has beta-glucan, a soluble fibre which promotes gut health and helps reducing cholesterol levels. Avocados are a good source of potassium which helps in lowering high blood pressure levels and contain antioxidants like lutein and zeaxanthin which are good for eye health. Additionally, coconut water contains good amount of vitamin C, fibres and several important nutrients.
- 20 gm raw rolled oats
- 20 gm avocado
- 100 ml coconut water
- 50 gm fresh yogurt
- 1/2 tsp flax seeds

- Soak oats for at least one hour. Rinse and drain the oats.
- In a blender, add oats, avocado, yogurt and coconut water. Blend until smooth.
- Transfer mixture into a jar and add flax seeds on top.
