  • Green peas- 1 cup
  • Oil- 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped spring onions whites- ½ cup
  • Chopped basil leaves- ¼ cup
  • Freshly ground black pepper – ¼ teaspoon
  • Salt by taste

  • Heat up the oil in a deep pan, add chopped spring onions and sauté it on a medium flame for around one minute.
  • Add green peas into it, 3 cups of water and mix it all well. Cover the pan with the lid on and let it cook for 7-8 minutes on a medium flame.
  • Cool the mixture completely, add some chopped basil leaves and blend it in the blender till smooth.
  • Pour the green pea mixture back into the same pan, add salt and pepper from above mix it well and again let it cook for 3-4 minutes on a medium flame while stirring occasionally.
  • Serve hot once all of it is done.
