Detoxify with Chia Seed Bowl

Detox! This word brings an image of intense juice cleansing diet that will starve you. But no need to worry when we say detox, we talk about refocusing the mind, body, taste and palate that does not mean restricting all food groups from the diet. So here we have a healthy chia seed bowl topped with seasonal fruits and nuts which is a perfect, easiest, no-cook, to-go breakfast in a bowl.
Nutritional benefits: This healthy bowl consist of chia seeds which is a good source of omega-3 fatty acids, fiber, antioxidants, iron and calcium, nuts like almond and raisins that helps in controlling weight, diabetes and are good for your heart. This dish also includes fruits such as apple, which is rich in antioxidants, fiber and blueberries rich in fiber, folate, potassium, vitamin C, vitamin B6 that help in reducing the total amount of cholesterol in the blood, cure diabetes and prevents cancer.
- 1 tbsp of Chia Seeds
- 200 ml of milk
- 5-6 raisins
- 4-5 almonds
- 25g apple
- 25g blueberry
Calories: 170-173 kcal
- Soak chia seeds in milk for 5-10 minutes in a bowl.
- Add raisins, almonds, apple, blueberry to it. Mix it well.
- Cover and put this mixture in refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
