People feel that puddings are just tasty calories but this pudding is not only rich in flavours but also does wonders for your health. So, here we have a healthy almond milk pudding with low calories and great health benefits.

Nutritional benefits: Delicious almond milk pudding contains brown rice which helps in digestion, lowering cholesterol, has anti-inflammatory properties. Also, almond milk is rich in calcium, vitamin E, vitamin D and low in sugars.

Preparation time: 30-40 minutes

Cooking time: 30-45 minutes


1 cup water
20g of brown rice
½ cup almond milk
2 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½  teaspoon nutmeg
1-2 raisins


  • Boil 1 cup of water and add brown rice to it. Provide low to medium heat and simmer rice for 30 minutes, uncovered. Stir occasionally.
  • Drain water and put rice into a pot. Put the lid on the pot and let steam for 10 minutes, away from the flame.
  • After 10 minutes, transfer rice to a bowl and set aside. Bring almond milk, honey and spices to a low boil and stir it.
  • Add rice, raisins and  stir often. Simmer until milk cooks down, about 30-45 minutes. Serve cold with a pinch of cinnamon and few raisins on top.
