Bruschetta Recipe

Bruschetta is an Italian dish which is basically toasted bread with some delicious toppings. They make for a fancy finger food and crunchie-munchie snack which are incredibly easy to make for kids. If your kids are fussy eaters when it comes to vegetables, then this tasty and healthy recipe is bound to change their opinions about veggies. By adding fresh herbs you can make the dish more flavourful.

This bruschetta is a mix of multigrain bread, mushroom, broccoli, capsicum. It is high in fiber, protein, B and C vitamins, and antioxidants. These healthy ingredients boost your immune system, improve your eyesight, promote heart health, reduce inflammation and help to combat cancer.

Preparation time– 10-15 min

Cooking time– 5-10 min


        Multigrain  bread- 1 (6” long)

        Mushroom- 20g

        Broccoli- 15g

        Capsicum (of any color)- 15g

        Coriander leaves- few

        Olive oil- 1 Tsp

        Oregano- ½ Tsp

        Black pepper- ½ tsp

        Salt to taste

Calories–  96-100 kcal


        Take one multigrain bread and slice it diagonally.

        Cut all the vegetables into small cubes.

        Take a pan, pour olive oil and sauté all the vegetables in it.

        Add salt, oregano, pepper according to taste.

        Grill the sliced bread. Put sautéd vegetables on the top.

        Garnish it with coriander leaves and enjoy.
