Instead of relying on sleeping pills or other pharmaceutical options try this wonderful turmeric milk recipe.
Milk: Milk is a rich source of calcium, vitamin D and potassium and has a great importance to the human body. Calcium and vitamin D helps in building healthy bones and teeth while potassium helps in maintaining blood pressure. Warm milk before bed helps us to relax and make us sleep well
Turmeric: Turmeric is an ancient ayurvedic medicine that has numerous of health benefits. It has antiviral, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which are very important while treating high- cholesterol and heart diseases. It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties which help to cure when you’re suffering from cold or flu. The soothing qualities of turmeric can help you getting sound sleep even at the time of sickness.
- Milk- 200 ml
- Turmeric powder- ½ tspn
- Ginger chopped- 5g
- Cardamom powder- ½ tspn
- Organic honey- 2 drop

- In a pan heat milk and add turmeric powder, cardamom powder and chopped ginger.
- Bring the milk to boil and turn off immediately. Let the milk cool to a moderate temperature before adding honey.
- Add honey then strain through a strainer in a cup. Find a quiet place to relax and enjoy it.
