I’m sure there must be certain vegetables or fruits that you avoided all your life. One such vegetable is Spinach – the healthiest yet the only one that ranks at the top of ’WON’T EAT’ list of every kid and well, even adults. But, let me tell you that spinach when combined with Kiwi & Chia seeds, is green goodness packed to the brim and it tastes delicious. It’s a complete blend of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that keep your digestive system & metabolism up & running all day long. This magic potion is full of essential nutrients and is nothing short of a full-fledged nutritious meal. It’s a rich source of Vitamin K, A, C & Omega-3 fatty acids. This cracker disease-fighting smoothie helps in forming red blood cells, boosting immune system & maintaining strong bones too.
Let’s do some healthy drinking…shall we?
Servings: 2 Small Glasses
Calories: 107 kcal
- 1 ½ cups cold almond milk
- 1 ½ cups (packed) of spinach
- 1 ripe kiwi, peeled & cut into chunks
- 1 banana, cut into chunks & frozen
- 2 tablespoons of chia seeds
- 2 tablespoons wheat grass powder
- ½ to 1 teaspoon maca powder
In a blender, combine almond milk, spinach leaves, frozen banana chunks, kiwi chunks and chia seeds. Add the extra ingredients for some additional goodness. Blend the mixture until its smooth & Voila!
